Women in the building industry all have unique viewpoints and experiences. Is it possible that those differences can actually unite us all? NAWM believes it is possible. We believe that diversity of experience when shared with others makes our industry stronger. We believe that women in our professions will only change the unique challenges we face by meeting them directly with determination and passion - and a heavy dose of hard work.
NAWM hopes that by expanding our network of relationships with other women in the building professions, by increasing our base of knowledge and becoming experts in this one facet of the building industry - masonry - we can benefit the industry as a whole. It's not just about getting through the front door of the office or onto the jobsite anymore. For NAWM, it's about expanding expertise, creating leaders, and learning from the valuable experience we all bring to the table.
